Here is the abstract of my
thesis: Devellopement d'un code de calcul micromagnetique 2D et 3D:
Application a des systemes reels de types films, plots et fils
- The
major goal of my thesis was to create specific numerical tools to investigate
ferromagnetic systems. In this purpose two software codes have been created in
order to analyze two (2D) and three (3D) dimensional ferromagnetic systems: thin
films and patterned elements (submicron sized) such as dots, rings, wires,
platelets, ....: Circular
cobalt dots, Standard problem 4.
All the numerical simultations are performed close to the experimental data
provided by the magnetic force microscopy (MFM) studies, the magneto-optical
Kerr effect microscopy, SQUID.
The own micromagnetic code is adapted
to study non-periodique and periodic systems (like stripe structures in thin
films with perpendicular magnetocrystallin anisotropy). The parallelized version
of the micromagnetic code is also avalable (for a CRAY T3E machine).
